A Walk in Falkland

Scotland Day 4

Today Jenny, her mom, her friend Clara and I went on a small hike in the town of Falkland. The hike was filled with cute little bridges and a small (but dark) tunnel, and at the top of the hike was a small waterfall. We even found a tree trunk that had a bunch of European coins stuck in it.

When we finished the hike, we walked around the center of Falkland a bit. The town is actually the setting of a lot of the Outlander episodes. Mary, Queen of Scots also used to visit Falkland Palace very frequently and would ride through the trails we hiked through, hunting.

After we returned from Falkland, Jenny, Clara, and I went across the street to the pub that Jenny's mom owns called The Village Inn and had some dinner and drinks.
